- Singapore to release CPI data for January
- Thailand to release GDP for 4Q2008

Feb 24
- BNM monetary policy meeting and interest rate announcement. Expectations are for the OPR to be cut by 50bps to 2%, although there are economists who reckon the rates would be kept on hold until later in the year.
- European Monetary Union to release euro-zone current account balance for December, and industrial new orders for 4Q2008
- Germany to release IFO - Business climate data for February
- US Conference Board to release consumer confidence data for February
- Feb chief Ben Bernanke's testimony

Feb 25
- Bank of Thailand interest rate decision. Officials have suggested further monetary easing from the 2% currently
- UK to release preliminary 4Q2008 GDP
- US national association of Realtors to release existing home sales for January

Feb 26
- Singapore to release industrial production for January
- Germany to release consumer confidence survey
- US to release durable good orders, and new home sales for January

Feb 27
- Malaysia to release 4Q2008 GDP data. Expectations are for growth to slow to 1.5% from 4.7% in 3Q2008 due to the contraction in the manufacturing sector
- Thailand to release trade data, manufacturing production, and foreign reserves data for January
- India to release 4Q 2008 GDP data
- Euro-Zone to release CPI, and unemployment data for January
- US to release preliminary 4Q2008 GDP data. Expectations are for the numbers to be revised downwards from negative 3.8% growth to -5.2%
- US University of Michigan to release consumer sentiment data for February
- Asean Summit (Day 1)
