Tomorrow, 07 April 2010, POS Malaysia is likely to move higher, with potential to limit up!
Analyst reports:
From Amresearch:-
"a mere 10-sen increase in tariff — if it happens in 2H2010 — for all weights in the business, parcel and express mail service will boost Pos Malaysia’s earnings per share (EPS) by 52% for FY2010 and by 84% for FY2011 ending Dec 31. The group’s Ebitda margin would widen to 14% and 18% respectively."

POS MALAYSIA WILL REVISE THE PRICE FOR DOMESTIC POSTAGE STAMPS FOR THE FIRST TIME AFTER 18 YEARS
The Government today announced that on 1 July 2010, Pos Malaysia will revise the price for its domestic postage stamps for the first time since its corporatization in 1992. This is the first time for Pos Malaysia to revise the price of its domestic postage stamps after 18 years of being corporatized. Postal organizations around the world adjust the price for their domestic postage stamps periodically due to a variety of factors such as inflation, price of fuel, rising operation costs and many more.
Upon its implementation, the price for domestic postage stamps for Standard Mail weighing up to 20 gram will be revised from 30 cents to 60 cents. For up to 50 gram, it will be revised from 40 cents to 70 cents.
The increase in price for the domestic postage stamps will involve the following mail categories :
•Standard Mail below 50 gram
•Non-Standard Mail below 100 gram
•Periodicals
•PosDokumen
•Registered Mail
•Parcels below 2 kilogram
The details in the price increase will be published in due course.
The price increase is not applicable for the following mail categories :
•Non-Standard Mail above 100 gram up to 2 kilogram
